Inspired by the 365grateful project by Hailey Bartholomew. I began this blog on February 28, 2014, my 46th birthday, and challenged myself to take a few moments from each day (for 365 days) to reflect on something I am grateful for, something that brings me joy or makes me smile. Mission accomplished. Then 4 years whooshed by and I have started up all this good stuff again at age 51. Here goes...the goal is at least a gratitude post each week. Cheers!

A hearty thanks
Last month, while in for a routine visit to my doctor she noticed I have a heart murmur. This was new...and she referred me to a specialist. The cardiac center did an echocardiagram and an EKG, then today I got to talk to Dr. Lee, a cardiologist, about the results. What did he say? I have a strong, healthy heart and many times a murmur is absolutely nothing to worry about. This was good news! I realized while walking out of the office that the appt could have gone very differently. I take my heart and other organs for granted, and am so lucky to be healthy. Very grateful today.
