I began this blog on February 28, 2014, my 46th birthday, and challenged myself to take a few moments from each day (for 365 days) to reflect on something I am grateful for, something that brings me joy or makes me smile. Mission accomplished. Then 4 years whooshed by and I have started up all this good stuff again at age 51. Here goes...the goal is at least a gratitude post each week. Cheers!

Impulse buy
I needed a pick-me-up so on a whim, I bought this plant for my front porch today. It is unusual, and I have not seen this type of celiosa before. I am in awe of the color.
