Inspired by the 365grateful project by Hailey Bartholomew.
I began this blog on February 28, 2014, my 46th birthday, and challenged myself to take a few moments from each day (for 365 days) to reflect on something I am grateful for, something that brings me joy or makes me smile. Mission accomplished. Then 4 years whooshed by and I have started up all this good stuff again at age 51. Here goes...the goal is at least a gratitude post each week. Cheers!

Tooting redneck, anyone?
I am all about weird and random. As I strolled the aisles of Big Lots during my lunch hour today, I spied this guy in the garden art section. I couldn't help letting out a giggle at the weird randomness of this find.
Strangely, I couldn't figure out what to push to get him to toot...but I was relieved to see that his supposed toots came from his arm and not his backside. What struck me as odd was the combination of clown nose, freckles, french beard and beret. Awesome ! Sadly, I did not bring him home.
Well...did he toot? (I love Big Lots.)
