Anticipation

Today was Christmas and most of the day was spent on the road visiting Brent's and my family in other towns. Much fun was had chatting, eating and celebrating with all.  My favorite part of the day though was this morning when it was just the four of us and we were awoken early by the excitement the kids were feeling.  The kids sat waiting on the upstairs landing in anticipation of the great reveal of what Santa may have brought.  

What great fun it was to open gifts with them, sip coffee, and listen to holiday tunes so leisurely this morning.
